Madonna is planning to build a girls’ school in Malawi. To raise money for the project and to spread the word, she has posted a video on her website. You can check it out here!
“There are very few girls in Africa in general who are encouraged or allowed to go to secondary school so after spending a lot of time there I realized that one of the ways I could help was to build a girls’ school,” she says in the video.
By the way, Madonna’s adopted son David is from Malawi.
And in other news… Madonna has reportedly removed her 12-year-old daughter Lourdes, from her school in London intensifying the rumors that the pop star is about to move back to the United States with the kids. (As all of you probably know by now, Madonna and her husband, Guy Ritchie, are in the process of getting divorced.)
