Madonna is on the cover of May’s issue of ELLE magazine.

The pop queen turns 50 this year, but looks to be in a very great shape.

“There are no short cuts to being Madonna,” she tells ELLE.

“It’s all about hard work. There is no easy way. If you want to know how I look like I do, it’s diet and exercise and constantly being careful.”
