– Madonna and the infamous ex-husband Guy Ritchie both responded to the outing of their divorce settlement amount today, saying that they are both happy with the financial agreement in their divorce, but that reportedly the sum which was announced regarding the payout amount were “misleading and inaccurate.”
Liz Rosenberg, Madonna’s spokeswoman in New York, had told fans and reporters on Monday the singer had given film director an amount in the area of about $76 million to $92 million, (which is an area we could certainly live with as a settlement) , as part of their divorce.
Both AP and Reuters news then picked up on and reported the figures, but now the couple are stepping back from it and saying those details are not accurate.
