Lucy Liu has became a mother to a beautiful baby boy that she has named Rockwell Lloyd. Not only is this baby precious as can be, but she delivered him through a surrogate that carried the baby for her, and then presented her with such a beautiful gift. While many mothers out there struggle to carry babies, Lucy decided that she was going to overcome the odds of not having children, and have someone carry this beautiful bundle of joy for her.
Being 46 years old, she decided that it was about time that she had a child of her own, and this little boy is going to have the best life ever to mom, age 46, who has done the most with her career as an actress on many different shows. Her reps have assured us that both baby and mom are happy and healthy, and Lucy couldn’t be any more thrilled to have a baby of her own.
Lucy’s Private Life
Although the actress is generally pretty private about her life at home and off the big screen, we do know that this is her first child and one that she is going to cherish for the rest of his life. She took to Instagram to post the photo of her and her son just hours after he was born. This is one of the biggest things that she says is the best thing that could have ever happened to her.
As for now, we welcome many babies into the world from those celebrities that are having them, and continue to have them. This baby just gave us a glimmer of hope throughout the days because of the way he was brought into the world. Surrogates do not get enough attention for the selfless act that they do, and it is something worth considering for those women that are not able to have children. For Lucy, we are unsure of whether or not it is because of her age, or because of medical complications but for now we say – congrats to the beautiful mother and healthy baby boy!
