The last few days of this week were touched by some significant deaths in the Hollywood music scene, players that won’t easily be forgotten.
Two legends passed away this week, the first, the founder and keyboard player of Pink Floyd, whose “The Wall” rocked thousands. Richard Wright died on Monday from cancer.
The second, Norman Whitfield, a veteran musician from MoTown, who passed away on Wednesday at the age of 67, from complications of his long fight with diabetes.
Both men were all that legends are made of. Their immense contribution to the music world is however a legacy that will certainly remain with all of us.
