It is a few days now since the world awoke to the news that Glee star Cory Monteith had passed away, and his girlfriend Lea Michele was struggling to come to terms with his sudden death, though today she has publicly thanked everyone for their “love and support” over the last few days.
A close family friend of Lea’s spoke to E! News. They said, “Lea is deeply grateful for all the love and support she’s received from family, friends, and fans. Since Cory’s passing, Lea has been grieving alongside his family and making appropriate arrangements with them. They are supporting each other as they endure this profound loss together.”
It was reported yesterday evening by The British Columbia Coroners Service that Cory had died from “mixed drug toxicity, involving heroin and alcohol.” Also the Law Enforcement Services back up those reports as they have reportedly told TMZ.com, “There was evidence in the room that was consistent of a drug overdose.”
To lose a loved one at any time is hard to come to terms with, but in the case of Cory Monteith it must be a very difficult time for all concerned especially now the coroner has released the reasons behind his sudden death.
