Singer Lauryn Hill has announced at the end of a concert in Detroit, Michigan that she is pregnant with her sixth child. Hill explained this is the reason why she’ll be taking some time off from performing, she told the audience,
“I’m going to be taking time off to give birth.”
She already has five children with Rohan Marley, son of Bob Marley. As she reportedly said herself at a gig a few months ago;
“I keep having these children. I don’t know if I’m the most fertile woman in America. I’ve got five big children, you believe that? If you ask anybody I went to high school with, they’d be like puzzled… Wait till you hear the big secret though.”
Hill at 36 years old has also won a Grammy and is the former lead singer of the Fugees. Fans have been eagerly anticipating her second album since she re-launched her career last year.
