Late Aaron Spelling’s on the market for $150M

Aaron Spelling’s mansion

Aaron Spelling’s widow Candy Spelling has placed her late television producer’s exclusive French chateau-style mansion called “The Manor” on the market for a whopping $150 million.

The three-story mansion, which is the largest in Los Angeles County (and the most expensive home for sale in the U.S. according to some reports) was built in 1991 and has more than 100 rooms, including a wine cellar, a wine tasting room, a screening room, a bowling alley, a barber shop, a beauty salon, a gift-wrapping room, a silver storing room (!), a China room, and a gym. And outside you will reportedly find a waterfall, a tennis court, fountains, a rose garden, a pool and a spa, a citrus orchard, 16 car ports and more…

According to the Associated Press, Candy Spelling let her dog help her pick out the best real estate agent for selling the property. She reportedly had someone bring in the dog to the room where she met with the real estate agent and if the dog didn’t like him or her, she just crossed them off her list.

Aaron Spelling died in 2006. Some of his most recognizable contributions to television include the hit shows “Charlie’s Angels,” “Starsky and Hutch”, “The Love Boat”, “T.J. Hooker”, “Dynasty”, “Beverly Hills 90210,” and “Melrose Place”.
