Larry Flynt sues his nephews over mediocre porn, use of his name

Hustler publisher Larry Flynt is suing his two nephews, Jimmy Flynt II and Dustin Flynt, for selling second-rate porn under the same family name. The two brothers used to work for Larry, but the rumor has it that he fired them about a year or so ago for being unproductive.

In the lawsuit, the porn king accuses his nephews of producing pornographic films that are “inferior products” and “knockoff goods”.

Larry says he filed the suit to protect his family name in the industry. “To come into the adult entertainment business and use my name not only confuses people who buy my products, but if they’re not maintaining a certain quality, it could also hurt my name,” Larry is quoted as saying by the Los Angeles Times.

However, Jimmy Flynt II and Dustin Flynt claim they are just trying to get their new porn business off the ground and that they also have a right to use their family name.

The entertainment site TMZ.com reports that Larry Flynt and “Girls Gone Wild” creator Joe Francis are asking for a $5 billion federal bailout of the adult entertainment industry because “the economy has made America’s appetite for sex go limp.”

“With all this economic misery and people losing all that money, sex is the farthest thing from their mind. It’s time for Congress to rejuvenate the sexual appetite of America,” Flynt is quoted as saying by TMZ.com.
