Kylie Jenner Becomes the Youngest Self-Made Billionaire, Launches Skin Care Line

Kylie Jenner has posted a picture of herself on Friday announcing that she is expanding her billion dollar empire.

The new project is a skincare line – called Kylie Skin By Kylie Jenner.

Kylie Skin

Under her make-up free face, and glowing skin, the caption says: “KYLIE F*CKING SKIN! Wow.

Skincare and makeup go hand in hand and Kylie Skin was something I dreamt up soon after Kylie Cosmetics. I’ve been working on this for what feels like a lifetime so I can’t believe I’m finally announcing!”

According to the 21-year-old entrepreneur, Kyle Skin will launch on May 22nd.

Billion Dollar Baby

Her company Kylie Cosmetics, valued at $900 million and is expected to rake in $1 billion in lifetime sales by 2022, signed an exclusive distribution deal with the retailer Ulta last summer that quickly boosted sales for Jenner’s company.

This, along with her side projects such as her paid app, the “Kylie Jenner Official App”, two apparel lines in collaboration with her sister Kendall, a book series, TV programs and other partnerships with retail brands like Adidas, Topshop and Quay Australia, all made her the youngest billionaire in history.

The youngest self-made billionaire ever made the Forbes list of the world’s billionaires, taking the title from Facebook co-founder Mark Zuckerberg, who became a billionaire in 2008 at age 23, and Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates who held it in 1987 at age 31.

Met Gala Appearance

We can’t get enough of the young billionaire who appeared at this year’s Met Gala with her beau Travis Scott.

They stuck to the event’s Camp theme, with her in a purple wig with a lavender mermaid dress with lavender feathered sleeves, and him, dressed like a video game alongside her in a Dior Men ensemble.

The couple was easily pronounced as one of the evening’s most extravagantly dressed duos.
