The Kooks narrowly avoided what could have been a serious accident after their plane was struck by lightning.
The band were flying from Germany to the Polish capital of Warsaw when their plane was caught in a storm just ten minutes after take-off.
“There was a loud crash, like someone had smashed plates, and everyone was jolted. I saw the lightning hit the side of the plane. Scary stuff, man,” frontman Luke Pritchard said.
