Kim Kardashian and Kris Humphries Divorce Hearing

Kim Kardashian Least Likely To Get Divorced This Year

Just like how public their wedding was, people’s eyes are on Kim Kardashian and Kris Humphries on their first divorce/annulment court date and it’s certainly not looking good for Kim because as the judge would have it, the divorce/annulment will be likely to be granted next year.

Humphries’ lawyer, Marshall Waller, needs to collect evidence that will prove that the 72 days old marriage was a fraud, but he has difficulty in getting information because of the producers of Kardashian’s reality shows. He says that the Kardashian camp is not helping in making the divorce proceedings easier and it could take him four more months to collect all evidence.

Waller and his team are trying to put Kardashian’s current boyfriend, Kanye West, and mother, Kris Jenner, on the witness stand. They wanted to do that before setting the trial for the divorce/annulment. Humphries’ lawyers had even gone as far as putting the subpoena for West in a Nordstrom box and sent it to the Kardashian’s home.

Kardashian’s lawyer, Laura Wasser, expressed her own frustration in the case when they sent the subpoena in this manner. She says Humphries’ camp is delaying the battle for PR purposes and she plans to charge him of the $250,000 that Wasser’s legal firm had already spent in legal fees.

The arguments in the trial remain unclear and presiding judge, Judge Stephen Moloney of the LA Superior Court, said that it may remain that way for a long time. He had set the next court date on November 28th for a status conference.
