Kid Rock was taken to hospital on Friday after suffering from stomach cramps and dehydration.

He canceled his performance at the U.K.’s Download Festival just minutes before he was due to perform on stage.

“We’ve had the curse of Download. Kid Rock is not very well and we’ve had to rush him to hospital in Nottingham. He apologizes to his fans,” read a statement from the festival organizers.
