They were holding hands on a beach in Malibu, looking happier than ever and revealing their blossoming romance to the world.
They both like to keep their private life under the radar and they worked really hard to keep their romance a secret.
How They Kept Their Romance Hidden
A source close to the pair told the media they worked really hard to keep their relationship quiet for years and that’s what made things exciting, sexy and fun.
“They arranged regular, private, late-night, secret rendezvous with at her place weekly when they first started seeing each other. They enjoyed romantic, sleepovers together at her Calabasas mansion where Jamie would leave early in the morning before anyone noticed he was even there.”
The two are going slowly, taking one step at a time and enjoying each other’s company.
“Katie is madly in love with Jamie, but she really has no desire to get married and to have more kids,” the source added.
Katie looks happier than ever and enjoys the freedom that the relationship gives her. We have to admit that we noticed a newfound sense of sociability after years of perfunctory appearances.
“She’d do what she was responsible to do and then she’d leave,” the source said.

The Reason for Hiding

According to an alleged divorce deal between Katie Holmes and Tom Cruise which resurfaced these days, Katie agreed not to publicly date another man for five years or to let any boyfriend near their daughter Suri.
The divorce settlement also prevents her from embarrassing Tom in various ways, like talking about him or Scientology.
In exchange, she received $5.8 million in child support and $6.2 million payment for herself.
And since it’s now five years since their divorce finalized in August 2012, and Jamie and Katie don’t have to claim “we are just friends” anymore.
