Katie Holmes is reportedly going to star in the new Broadway musical All My Sons.

She will star alongside actor John Lithgow and Diane West in the Arthur Miller play that depicts a family in the post World War II.

“This play will be like a shop window for Katie. The aim is to remind people of her acting chops. It’s kind of a neat idea,” says an insider.

It’s also been reported that Katie Holmes would like to have an acting career like Reese Witherspoon’s. Her husband, Tom Cruise, has offered his star status to get Katie the hottest scripts in Hollywood, but Katie has refused the proposal and insists that she wants to make it on her own.
