Actress Katherine Heigl has reportedly said that she is willing to stay on as Dr. Izzie Stevens on ABC’s hit medical drama “Grey’s Anatomy”, but that the final decision rests with the show, the Associated Press reports.

“I’m there if Izzie remains part of “Grey’s Anatomy,” Heigl said.

There have been lots of speculations that Heigl wants to leave the television show to pursue her movie career instead, and that her character Dr. Izzie Stevens therefore might get killed off.
