As people get older they tend not to celebrate birthday’s and anniversaries, but that doesn’t apply to Kate Moss it seems, as the supermodel will celebrate her 40th birthday on Richard Branson’s luxury island!
Kate will turn 40 on Thursday 16th January and a close friend revealed all about her upcoming celebrations to the Sunday People Newspaper. The source said, “She is absolutely delighted Richard gave her the sole use of his island, she is so touched by his generosity. Kate didn’t want the fuss and bother of London and the drama that comes with it. She’s decided to celebrate in private.”
In private to us mere mortals would mean a quiet celebration with close family and friends at home, but to someone of Kate Moss’ standing it means something quite different, as the source was quick to reveal. They said, “Kate has vowed not to let her friends down, she knows how to throw a good party and this will be no exception. She is planning a nice, relaxing holiday but, at the same time, her actual birthday will be a massive one, just like everyone is expecting. It’ll be wild though – guests have been told to bring fancy dress clothing, party gowns, as well as beachwear.”
It is not every day you turn 40, and it sounds as if Kate Moss is pushing the boat out quite literally for her birthday this year. Oh how the other half live!
