Cyclist Lance Armstrong dumped actress Kate Hudson because he felt she was “too needy,” according to the Chicago Sun Times.

According to an associate at Armstrong’s Livestrong charity foundation, the actress was simply coming on ”too strong, too fast”. The source also claims that Armstrong felt that “Kate was way too desperate, a woman who clearly can’t be on her own without a man in her life at all times.”

Hudson and Armstrong called it quits last week. They had just been dating since May.
