Will they or won’t they? That is the question that is on every-bodies lips concerning the supposed marriage proposal from Kanye West to Kim Kardashian. Well reports surfacing today suggested that the couple are engaged after Kanye proposed to Kim in front of the couples family and friends.
The news will have come as a shock to some people as only last week an insider revealed that West had no plans to marry at all. The source told Radar Online, “Kanye is telling friends that he’ll never marry Kim. He has no need or desire to make their relationship official in the eyes of the law.”
It appears as though that comment was a bluff to throw people of the scent as another source told E! News the following. They said, “Kim turns 33 today. Kanye had planned to propose for her birthday. He chose the ring from exclusive jewellers Boucheron on a recent trip to Paris. But everything else is top secret.”
Earlier this year Kim said she wanted to get married, but there was no rush. In a interview with Cosmopolitan she said, “Marriage is something I know that we both want in our future, but I don’t have this sense of urgency about it.”
The said proposal took place yesterday evening at the AT&T Park Stadium in San Francisco when Kanye popped the question on the big screen with a message saying “PLEEEASE MARRY MEEE!!!”.
If the couple do eventually tie the knot it will be interesting to see how long the marriage lasts as Kim has already been divorced twice, with her last marriage lasting just 72 days, and in total her extended family have gone through seven divorces and three separations!
