Justin Hawkins, that’s the frontman of now-broken-up band The Darkness and current frontman of Hot Leg to you, has made up with his brother, Dan Hawkins. We like to assume that one of them said ‘you’re really growing on me’ at some point.
The reunion happened at a Hot Leg gig in Brighton’s Ocean Room, where Justin said to the crowd ‘I know Dan is here’ and, when there was no answer, told everyone who’s name wasn’t Dan to sit down. And they did, leaving Dan stood there, presumably bewildered at apparently growing a few feet instantly.
A source said to The Sun; ‘We were really shocked when Dan got up on stage and picked up a guitar.’ They then performed I Believe in a Thing Called Love, playing together for the first time since Justin left the Darkness in 2006. If we’re lucky and we all cross our fingers, a reunion could be on it’s way.
