After being married for a year, Justin and Hailey Bieber got married for the second time.
(Re)tying the Knot
Back in 2018, Bieber proposed to Baldwin during a romantic vacation in the Bahamas, and the pop star and supermodel shortly after secretly got married in a New York City courthouse.
Following the wedding, the couple kept silence about their relationship status for several months being married.
They hinted at their marriage in November on the social media, when Baldwin changed her Instagram handle to “Hailey Bieber”. However, the official confirmation came later, in February this year when The Biebers were featured together on the cover of Vogue magazine.
“We’re coming from a really genuine place,” the 22-year-old model said. “But we’re two young people who are learning as we go.”
Justin and Hailey Bieber have been friends with each other for a long time before they got together, both attending the same church.
“I’m not going to sit here and lie and say it’s all a magical fantasy,” she continued. “It’s always going to be hard. It’s a choice. You don’t feel it every single day. You don’t wake up every day saying, ‘I’m absolutely so in love and you are perfect.’
That’s not what being married is. But there’s something beautiful about it anyway — about wanting to fight for something, commit to building with someone.”
Celebrating the Love
It seems that they wanted to get the legal stuff out of the way first and then celebrate their love with family and friends during one big party.
The couple chose the Montage Palmetto Bluff, a luxurious hotel resort in South Carolina as their wedding destination.
They once again said “I do” this time in front 150 guests, including their famous friends.
Some of the celebrity guests attending were Kendall and Kylie Jenner, Travis Scott, Usher, Jaden Smith, and Ed Sheeran.
Following their wedding, The Biebers plan to go on a long private honeymoon somewhere in Europe.
