According to US Weekly, Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt turned to in vitro fertilization to conceive their twins, Vivienne and Knox.
A source close to the couple has told the magazine that “they both desperately wanted more babies soon.” The source also claims that Jolie chose the procedure so that “she wouldn’t have to deal with the stress of trying to get pregnant.”
According to Dr. Arthur Wisot of L.A.’s Reproductive Medical Group, the chance of having fraternal twins at Angelina’s age (she’s 33 years old) is about 1%. But with in vitro the chances become 25%.
