The current series of I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here has just finished, and it appears as though there is another jungle romance on the cards.
In 2004 Peter Andre and Katie Price first met in the third series of the hit ITV1 show, and a blossoming romance soon followed, now fast forward nine years and you have Joey Essex and Amy Willerton. During their time in the Australian jungle Joey and Amy became very close, and at times it was clear to anyone who was watching the show that the sexual tension between the pair was growing on a daily basis.
After being evicted from the show at the weekend the couple have been spending lots of time in each others company, and have confirmed that they are now an item. Joey was asked by a reporter from the Daily Mirror Newspaper if he and Amy were together, to which he simply replied, “Yes.” He also said, “I’m very happy. Look at her. She’s beautiful. Our first date was amazing.”
Amy has also been speaking to the press about her new relationship with Joey. She said, “We’ve had a lovely night together. The party was amazing. They know how to have a good time here. Mind you, we have been drinking since 5am.”
So where did Joey take Amy? A posh exclusive Australian restaurant perhaps, a restaurant that serves local fresh produce? Far from it, they actually went to McDonald’s! Amy revealed all by saying, “We had 20 McNuggets, two Big Macs, fries, apple pies… the works. It was lovely.”
Joey Essex certainly knows how to treat a girl doesn’t he! McDonald’s indeed!
