26-year-old Jodie Sweetin – known for her role as Stephanie Tanner in the 90s sitcom “Full House” – is not allowed to see her 8-month-old daughter Zoie without the supervision of either of her parents (whom she lives with), Usmagazine.com reports.
An Orange County judge made the ruling yesterday, after Sweetin’s estranged husband accused her of being an unfit mother (and of once driving intoxicated – with her little baby girl in the car!).
Sweetin is a former meth addict and alcoholic and according to a doctor who took the stand, she has recently fallen off the wagon. However, the doctor also said that the former actress had been in contact with her sponsor, is attending AA meetings and that she didn’t think that the baby was in danger at the moment.
By the way, Sweetin is currently writing a memoir that will chronicle her downward spiral of alcohol and drug abuse. The working title for the book is “Wild Card” and it is due out in October of 2009.
