The actress and comedian Jenny Slate is engaged.
The star of Parks and Recreation has just announced on her social media the happy news about her engagement to art curator Ben Shattuck.
Shattuck popped the question in France during their holiday, and Slate was quick to say yes.

The public got the chance to see the ring and the happy announcement on the 37-year-old actress’ Instagram post where she wrote he took her to France, made a picnic and asked the grand question which she promptly accepted.
The post was accompanied by a photo of her holding her hand up, where a beautiful vintage-inspired ring is glowing.
The pic clearly shows a sapphire ring wrapped in diamonds on a gold band as the lucky bling.
Her friends and followers on Instagram were quick to follow with congratulations and well-wishing posts, including her close friends Alison Brie and Octavia Spenser from Giftedwho expressed their thrill and happiness for their friend’s future marriage.
The exact duration of their relationship is not known as both tend to keep their private lives under wraps. However, it is believed they have been together for nearly a year, with the Sundance Film Festival being the first public event where they appeared together.
Trial and Error
Before Ben, the actress was dating the Avengers star Chris Evans.
The two met on the set of Gifted back in 2016 and dated on and off until 2018 when they announced a final split.
Both are full of praise for each other, having nothing but kind words to say whenever they are asked about the details of their former relationship. It appears they have remained good friends after the breakup, and Evans is happy for Slate and her future husband.
Marrying Shattuck will be her second time she ties the knot. Slate was married to filmmaker Dean Fleischer-Camp from 2012 to 2016.
