Christmas Tradition
The Passengers actress visited Norton Children’s Hospital in her hometown of Louisville, Kentucky on Sunday, to spread some holiday cheer among children.
Jennifer surprises the children’s hospital on every Christmas Eve since 2013 and spends the evening with patients and staff, talking, laughing and taking pictures.

Jennifer was raised in Louisville by her mother Karen and father Gary who together ran a children’s day camp. She worked as an assistant nurse at the camp before she found her fame as an actress so helping kids runs in her veins.
In an interview, Jennifer revealed that she and her family met many wonderful children on her visits to the hospital and that their strength and courage inspire her.

The new wing of the hospital includes private rooms for children recovering after open heart surgeries, including heart transplant, heart failure and other severe conditions. Also, fourteen beds have been added for family members.
