Actress Jennifer Jones died of natural causes at the age of 90
Jones, who was extraordinarily famed in the 1940s and ’50s, passed away at her home in Malibu, CA acording to the The AP.
She received four ‘Best Actress’ Academy Award nominations, and did win in 1943’s The Song of Bernadette. She was also nominated in the ‘Best Supporting Actress’ category for 1944’s Since You Went Away.
Jones was as famed for her shunning of her fame as she was for her amazing acting.
She was quoted as saying: “Most interviewers probe and pry into your personal life, and I just don’t like it. I respect everyone’s right to privacy, and I feel mine should be respected too.”
