Famous A-list actress, Jennifer Garner reveals she has no interest in dating men following Ben Affleck split.
Brutal Truth
The famous couple split after ten years of marriage and three kids back in 2015 due to Ben’s alcohol problem and reported affairs.
After two years of silence, Jennifer now decided to be brutally honest in an interview saying that she hasn’t dated anyone since the divorce and that her friends are always trying to set her up with someone but she just isn’t interested.
She candidly admitted she never wanted this kind of life for her or for her kids. She could have never imagined she would be a single mom with three children. Twelve-year-old Violet, eight-year-old Seraphina and five-year-old Samuel are her biggest support and they are working through this situation together however.
Ben’s Alcohol Addiction
Although the couple filed for divorce this April, 45-year-old Alias star wants Ben to be the best dad possible for their kids and she’s been incredibly supportive with his struggles with alcohol addiction.
Ben made his problems public back in March and then went into rehab. Following a successful treatment, he thanked Jen for the support. She waited one month after Ben completed treatment for alcohol addiction because she wanted to be supportive during his battle with this illness.
Jen also revealed in the interview with news.com.au that she and the kids are spending Thanksgiving and Christmas together adding that they are friends for the sake of the children and that they can manage the situation. Affleck has apparently moved on and he is currently dating Lindsay Shookus, the 37-year-old Saturday Night Live producer.
Troubles in Paradise
The couple started dating in 2004 after they had worked together in the movies Pearl Harbour in 2001 and Daredevil in 2003. Everything was perfect until the rumors about Affleck’s infidelities marred their happiness.
The affair with their children’s nanny, Christine Ouzounian was the final drop. Drinking problems just made it impossible to fix. Since their separation, Ben is staying in their guest house and they are co-parenting their kids. He wants to be close to the kids and be a part of their life.
In her new role in The Tribes Of Palas Verdes, she plays a woman whose husband is unfaithful and she says it was a really emotional performance for her and also very cathartic experience.
Maybe now, Jen will move on too.
