Michael Jackson saw a psychiatrist, who according to reports given thought that the singer was showing signs of being close to a nervous breakdowjust two weeks before his death.

Jackson’s behavior was erratic and “almost manic” at the second of two meetings with the unnamed doctor, with a source claiming that he was “clearly not mentally or physically equipped to cope” with his planned O2 residency in London.

The insider related that “Michael had been candid at their first meeting, but showed clear signs of cracking up when he saw him again. They discussed if it would be possible to cancel or postpone the gigs.

“Michael was always adamant the show must go on - to the point where he was obsessed with the idea he would be ‘killed’ if he couldn’t go on stage. He had been backed into a corner and was falling apart under the strain.”
