Michael Jackson’s father Joe insiststhat he is not planning to transform the late singer’s children into famous entertainers.
The 79-year-old, who was responsible for forming the Jackson 5, was addressing rumors that he wants Prince Michael, 12, Paris, 11, and 7-year-old Blanket to become musicians and tour as the Jackson 3.
CNN’s Larry King Live, he said: “Not true. That’s a bunch of jive. That’s a bunch of… I wish I could say what I should say. That’s a bunch of bull… I’m not encouraging them to do nothing. They have to be what they are, kids at the moment.”
He went on to allege that he was “barred” access to Jackson before his death, explaining: “I could never get to him. I tried all I could and I could never get to him because he… I was barred away from him by securities and all that type of thing. I could not get to him.”
Joe, who also said he was “not hurt” to be cut out of the star’s will, adding he had taken his son’s passing “very hard” and repeated his belief that foul play might have led to the singer’s cardiac arrest on June 25.
so let’s get it straight. He mistreated Jackson so badly that he was barred from his house and out of his will, but Joe still gets his hands on the kids? Does this sound wrong to anyone but us??
