In show business awards are handed out on a regular basis, so much so that after a while they tend to become a little monotonous, though certain awards are held in higher regards than others, like the Oscars for example. One award still stands out above them all though and that award is a small coral-pink terrazzo five pointed star rimmed with brass that is located on Hollywood Boulevard. Yes induction to the Hollywood Walk of Fame is the award that every actor, musician, director and producer wants and yesterday the 2,500th member was welcomed to a very exclusive club, and that member was Jennifer Lopez.
J-Lo attended the unveiling of her star yesterday and was joined by her twins Max and Emme and her partner Casper Smart. Speaking at the unveiling of her star Lopez was quick to praise her fans for all their support over the years. She said, “This landmark moment inspires me to work harder and dream bigger for all that is the future. I hope you feel as I do that it was all worth it, and I hope that I have touched your hearts even in a small way. I really am overwhelmed. This all feels, I don’t know, kind of surreal, but so real. It’s awesome. I love you, thank you so much for going on this journey with me.”
Congratulations to J-Lo on her prestigious award and who knows in 20 years time it could be one of her children that are presented with the 3,000th coral-pink terrazzo five pointed star and with it induction to one of the most famous clubs there is The Hollywood Walk of Fame.
