Toy Story 4 is in production says Tom Hanks when speaking to the BBC on Monday. Toy Story has been a very highly successful set of films, Toy Story 3 won an Oscar for Best Animated Feature and is one if the highest-grossing animated film of all time. Tom is the voice of Woody in the Toy Story films.
Disney Pixar are yet to actually release an official statement but when Tom Hanks was interviewed by the BBC’s Tim Muffet, Hanks said on the question of whether there will be another film;
“I think there will be, yeah. Yeah, yeah, I think they’re working on it now.”

Although it’s not official just yet it seems unlikely that Disney Pixar will leave a franchise that made more than $560 million worldwide from “Toy Story 3” alone. In the meantime Pixar released a short film, “Hawaiian Vacation,” ahead of their newest film, “Cars 2”. They’ll be releasing another later this year, rumored to be planned ahead of “The Muppets.”
