Is Friends Reunion Actually Happening?

After years of hoping to see their favorite show back on screens, Friends fans might be finally get the long awaited reunion!

Recently, there have been a lot of rumors circling around that the beloved show is set to make a return.

Friends Reunited?

The hit American sitcom first aired in 1994 and, over the course of its 10 year run, became one of the most popular comedy series of all time.

Now, just months after the 25th anniversary of its launch, the Friends cast are apparently reuniting for a one-off reunion special.

Of course, the big question is: Will all of the cast be returning?

All of the original main cast members (Jennifer Aniston, Courtney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, David Schwimmer, Matt LeBlanc and Matthew Perry) are said to have reached an agreement after negotiating with series producer, Warner Bros TV.

The special is expected to feature reflective interviews with the cast, instead of a scripted episode similar to the original series.

According to the New York Post it is “most likely” to be hosted by Ellen DeGeneres, though nothing has yet been confirmed.

Friends Remain Coy

Friends star David Schwimmer addressed the recent news when he appeared in The One Show. “First of all, I’m so glad I finally get to answer this question. I really wish I could confirm or deny. There’s nothing official to report,” he said.

Schwimmer also joked that co-star Matthew Perry might be “pregnant” after his tweet “Big news coming…” which riled up the fans earlier.

Previously, Schwimmer’s other co-star Jennifer Aniston revealed that the original cast were “working on something,” when the rumors first started.

We don’t know when the Friends will be reunited, but thanks to Aniston, who after recently joining Instagram, treated us with some throwback posts and new selfies, we at least had a virtual reunion.
