An Indian nationalist movement says that they’ve made the ultimate in fizzy drink– made from cow urine.
The Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh’s Cow Protection Department announced that their development of the soft drink is nearly completed on a beverage that they call… “gau jal”, meaning “cow water”.
The Head of the department, Om Prakash said that the drink is havings its final laboratory tests and should be on the market by the end of the year.
“Don’t worry, it won’t smell like urine and will be tasty too,” he told The Times.
“Its [ultimate selling point] will be that it’s going to be very healthy. It won’t be like carbonated drinks and would be devoid of any toxins.”
Their hope is that the drink will help promote Hindu ideology, revering cows as objects of worship rather than as a food source.
Prakash said he believed that they could outface some other software companies: “We’re going to give them good competition as our drink is good for mankind. We may also think of exporting it.” ( I DON’T think Pepsi© has a thing to worry about)
I don’t know about you… but color me completely uninterested in drinking cow urine.
