A man was recently arrested and charged following the hit-and-run which killed American Idol contestant, Alexis Cohen, reported the New York Daily News.
The 25-year-old was struck by a vehicle at 4am on Saturday near Seaside Heights, New Jersey. She was pronounced dead at 6.35pm, reportedly suffering chest, head and abdomen injuries.She had twice been an Idol contestant being pronounced horrendous by Cowell.
Police have arrested Daniel Bark, 23, from Toms River, on charges of reckless driving and leaving the scene of an accident. He could face up to 15 years behind bars if he is convicted of the killing.
