Hilary Duff slams Faye Dunaway (Video)

Hilary Duff, 21, seems to have had enough of actress Faye Dunaway’s criticism about whether or not she has what it takes to play Bonnie Parker in the remake of the 1967 flick “Bonnie and Clyde” entitled “The Story of Bonnie and Clyde.”

“I think that my fans that are going to go see the movie don’t even know who she [Dunaway] is, so you know. I think it was a little unnecessary, but I might be mad if I looked like that now, too,” the Lizzie McGuire star tells E! News.

68-year-old Dunaway, who played Bonnie Parker in the original movie about the world’s most famous bank robbers, allegedly said the following when she heard that Duff was going to play her old role (which she also got an Academy Award nomination for): “Couldn’t they at least cast a real actress?”

Ouch!!!

What I don’t get is why they’d ever want to remake a perfect classic like Bonnie & Clyde…and to cast Hilary Duff…I gotta agree with Faye on that one…
