Glee Star Cory Monteith Enters Rehab For A Second Time

cory-monteithGlee star Cory Monteith has been in the news a few times of late, mainly regarding his romance with fellow co star Lea Michele. Today though reports are emerging from America that Monteith, 30, has checked himself into rehab because of his addiction to certain substances.

Monteith is no stranger to rehab, he first entered rehab when he was just 19. A representative told PEOPLE last night, “Cory has voluntarily admitted himself to a treatment facility for substance addiction.”

His girlfriend Lea Michele also commented on the news regarding her boyfriend. She said, “I love and support Cory and will stand by him through this. I am grateful and proud he made this decision.”

The duo were seen in public only last week when they attended a Los Angeles Kings ice hockey game, roughly a year to the day when they first went public about their relationship. Shortly after the news broke about their romance last year Michele had the following to say about Monteith. She said, “He really, really inspires me, and he motivates me and I think he’s just so talented.”

It looks as though it is Michele who needs to do the inspiring right now, and only time will tell if Cory Monteith can kick his substance addiction, but with his friends and family, and notably his girlfriend Lea Michele, offering their utmost love and support the Glee star has every chance to finally kick his addiction into touch.
