The Glee cast may not be that gleeful after all. It looks like at least some of the cast members are a bit peeved about not getting royalties they feel are due to them from Sony for a CD recently released by the music label.
The executive producer of Glee, Ryan Murphy, inked a deal with Ralph Schmidt-Holtz, the CEO of Sony.
However, the cast wasn’t included in the deal.
The cast now feels cheated and in my opinion, rightfully so.
Perhaps to spite Sony some of the cast have signed their own deals with other labels. Mark Salling has signed with Pipe Dream Records and Matthew Morrison has joined the Mercury Records roster.
