Supermodel Gisele Bundchen, you know the former Victoria Secrets model and now wife to NFL quarterback, Tom Brady recently gave an interview to Harper’s Bazaar UK espousing the benefits of breastfeeding. She went so far as to say that all moms should be required to breastfeed for at least 6 months, well that caused something of an uproar forcing Bundchen to back track a bit.
Gisele would release the following statement via her blog about the controversy, “My intention in making a comment about the importance of breastfeeding has nothing to do with the law,” Bundchen wrote. “It comes from my passion and beliefs about children. Becoming a new mom has brought a lot of questions, I feel like I am in a constant search for answers on what might be the best for my child.”
I’m sure that the whole thing will blow over very quickly and a few weeks from now, no one will remember what she said.
