Scottish actor Gerard Butler (you might have seen him in movies such as “300”, “P.S. I Love You” and “RocknRolla”) has been charged with misdemeanor criminal battery after allegedly hitting a paparazzi last year, TMZ.com reports.
It was when Butler left a premiere party for “RockNRolla” that the allegedly hit a photographer in the face a couple of times.
A rep for the actor claims the paparazzi had been stalking Butler, who if convicted could face up to six months behind bars.
