In August Gavin Rossdale and Gwen Stefani announced that they were splitting up after being married for 13 years and together for close to 20. Since this announcement the headlines have been mainly focused on Gwen’s new romance, which by the way was confirmed last week, with a fellow judge from The Voice Blake Shelton. But the spotlight now turns its way to Gavin. As US Weekly has reported Gavin Rossdale had an affair with the family nanny that went on for three years. Stefani apparently found about this ongoing relationship in February as she found text messages that were between the nanny and Gavin. After Gavin admitted to having an affair with the nanny is when Stefani decided to end their 13 year long marriage as this news was reported over the summer. While Rossdale has been very quite on the subject for the most part, he has been spotted still wearing his wedding band while he has been out in public recently. At the same time, Gwen has been very busy promoting the final season of The Voice as well as her new music.
During a recent press tour, Gwen remained mostly reserved about the new man that has been in her life. Although she did refer to Blake Shelton as “Hot” during one of her radio interviews that was with Ryan Seacrest – but she did talk about her split up with Gavin. The very cryptic quotes have included things such as how her “life basically blew up” in her face as well as her stating that she had hard times before the baby personally that were not good.
