Dave Gahan tells the world he is a lucky man and that he wakes every night at the moment that he ‘died’ more than a decade ago from a heroin overdose.
The Depeche Mode singer was rvived by artificial means when his heart stopped for two minutes in 1996. Gahan, 46, told Bild: “I wake every night at 4.15am – at exactly the time when my heart stopped 13 years ago. “I look at my watch and know in advance what the time will be. I think somebody wants to remind me that I have a good life – and it’s not for me to decide when it will end.”
