West, 35, was performing at the Adult Swim Upfront Party in New York earlier this week when he said, “I’m trying to make some music that inspires people to be the best they can be. I don’t want nobody to ask nothing else of me. Don’t ask nothing else of me.”

He then went on to add, “One thing about me, I’m the worst kinda celebrity because all I do is make real music. All I do is sit in the studio and make real, real s**t. And that’s it. So I don’t want nobody trying to run up on me with no cameras, trying to sell pictures and s**t to magazines, asking me no dumb ass questions, throwing me off of my focus and s**t.”

A very interesting way to draw attention to yourself is it not? But then again ‘celebrities’ and that is ‘celebrities’ in the loosest form possible just love being in the news for whatever reason they can don’t they, and it appears Kanye West is no different to anyone else despite what he says about not being a celebrity.

Speaking to the magazine In Touch Weekly Duff, 25, said, “Motherhood has been a huge life adjustment. It’s been the most wonderful time of my life, but also the most tiring.”

She went on to talk about her 14 month old son, who is called Luca Cruz, and she also spoke about what the future may hold. She said, “He went straight to running from crawling instead of walking so I’m on my feet all day long training him. Right now I’m making some new music and reading scripts, but it’s tough to commit. Now that I’m a Mum, whatever I work on has to be worth it.”

Many young mothers find it hard to leave their children behind and return to work, but with celebrities it is an everyday occurrence it seems as they just palm their children off to a nanny or child minder.

Hilary also spoke about the issues she has had with her weight since the birth of her son. She said, “I’ve never had that much weight to lose before. I love to exercise but I’m the worst dieter in the world. Now I’m finally getting to a place where my old clothes are fitting. It’s taken a year and it was harder than I thought it was going to be. But I feel really good.”

We think Hilary Duff looks great, and there are many young mums who have recently given birth who would give their right arm to look as good as Hilary Duff.

Speaking to The New York Daily News newspaper Mr Voight, 74, said, “I found out this morning. I was as surprised as anyone and deeply moved by the way she’s handled this. She’s a very extraordinary person, the way she examined it and what she shared.”

The whole world agrees with you there Mr Voight as you would not wish what Angelina Jolie has had to go through on your worst enemy. He went on to say, “My love and admiration for my daughter can’t be explained in words. I saw her two days ago with my son Jamie. We all got together for his birthday, with her and Brad. But I didn’t know. It wasn’t obvious at all.”

When asked about why his daughter kept the news from him for more than three months Mr Voight said, “I completely understand, I want the focus to be on the inspiration. She just explained to me and educated me on this stuff.”

The story truly is an inspiration to many women and their families, especially those that have gone through the same as what Angelina Jolie and her family have gone through in recent months. In 2007 Jolie lost her mother Marcheline Bertrand to ovarian cancer so she decided to be “proactive” and go ahead with the operation. Writing in The New York Times Jolie, 37, wrote, “My doctors estimated that I had an 87 percent risk of breast cancer and a 50 percent risk of ovarian cancer, although the risk is different in the case of each woman. Once I knew that this was my reality, I decided to be proactive and to minimize the risk as much I could. I made a decision to have a preventive double mastectomy. I started with the breasts, as my risk of breast cancer is higher than my risk of ovarian cancer, and the surgery is more complex.”

The operation was completed earlier this year, and already Jolie has undergone three months of rehabilitation. She said in her article, “On April 27, I finished the three months of medical procedures that the mastectomies involved. During that time I have been able to keep this private and to carry on with my work.”

Famous people get a lot of bad press for one reason or another including the likes of Angelina Jolie, but she should be applauded for her courage and tackling her problems head on. Peaches new son was born on the same day (24th April) as her mother Paula Yates and speaking to Hello Magazine she had the following to say about the naming of new son. She said, “I wouldn’t be a Geldof if I didn’t get stick in the press about my ridiculous choice of names. I’ve got to uphold the family’s tradition. His full name is Phaedra Bloom Forever, which I think sounds like a rock star.”

Well at least she has the guts to admit to the names being ridiculous. She went on to add, “We chose Bloom because my middle name is Honeyblossom and also in homage to Nirvana’s ‘In Bloom’. Forever we chose purely because it sounded cool.”

Here at Hot gossip we are not so sure about the cool name, but when you consider Peaches’ sisters are called Fifi Trixibell, Little Pixie and Heavenly Hiraani Tiger Lily her new son may have got off lightly!

Yesterday the official 1D Twitter account went into overdrive when the following message appeared. It read, “You could also set your alarms on your phones as an extra precaution…#OneBigAnnouncement7DaysToGo 1DHQ x”.

Band members Niall and Liam didn’t help the situation because they both tweeted messages regarding the secret news as well. Liam wrote, “Get ready! Exciting announcement coming from us nextttttt week! Niall added the following message to his Twitter account. It read, “THE most exciting 1D news EVER is being announced in 6 days!”

Whatever the news maybe it is obviously something big because there is even a website dedicated to the big announcement which is aptly called onebigannouncement.com.

Already the rumour mills are working overtime with the news about the big announcement. Could it be that Zayn Malik and Perrie Edwards are going to announce their engagement? Righton, 29, married Knightley, 28, at the weekend in a private ceremony in the South of France. A source close to the couple told The Sun Newspaper about the unique gift. They said, “James had it planted in the back garden of her home in France on the day of the wedding. He had carved their initials in a heart and showed her in front of everyone. She collapsed into fits of giggles, it was very sweet.”

Very sweet indeed. Righton also gave his new wife a family heirloom too, a ring belonging to his grandmother. The source added, “The ring he gave her was a family heirloom too. He really did think it all through. It was an amazing wedding, the whole thing was really sweet and down to earth.”

Sounds like a great day and it is good to hear of a celebrity couple who are in love and keeping things simple with a small private wedding rather than a lavish extravaganza. Britney appears on the front cover of the June edition from Shape and admits it is not easy trying to look good all the time as she loves her food. She said, “Dieting is tough because my specialities are spaghetti, brownies and chocolate chip cookies!”

Who doesn’t love a good spaghetti followed by a home made brownie or chocolate chip cookie! Britney was also asked how she manages to keep her ‘bum’ in such good shape and she replied, “I like it, then again, I hate it. I’m in my 30s now, so I have to work harder to keep it up.”

So exercise is the answer followed by more and more exercise. Perhaps a strenuous workout to ‘Toxic’ or ‘Hit Me Baby One More Time’ is the answer to how she is looking so good, but knowing monthly publications perhaps she has had a little help from the airbrush along the way! Whatever or however she got to look this good the latest pictures of her are certainly well worth a look as she certainly is looking mighty fine.

On Sunday evening model Teresa Baca was the first to send her congratulations to the couple by tweeting, “Congratulations to Lara Stone and David Walliams who had a baby boy.”

That message of course got followers of David and Lara into a frenzy, but it wasn’t until a spokesperson for Lara Stone confirmed the news that it became official. They said, “We can confirm they have had a baby boy.”

Congratulations to David and his wife on the birth of their newborn child from everyone here at Hot Gossip. No doubt the attention will now turn to what name they are going to give him. David said earlier in the year, “It’s a bit of a curse if you’re called Apple or Peaches or something like that. I think we’re just going to go with a normal name.”

Well last year they called their new pet dog ‘Bert’, so perhaps their new child will be called ‘Ernie’. Bert and Ernie from Sesame Street has a nice ring to it don’t you think? Perhaps the smart money will be on Simon, after all David and Simon make a great double act on Britain’s Got Talent don’t they?

According to Laura Carmichael (Lady Edith), Hugh Bonneville (The Earl of Grantham) and Ronnie Wood are the best of friends. Speaking to The Sun newspaper Carmichael said, “Hugh has been hanging out with Ronnie and they have been having a great time. They met doing charity work and Ronnie told Hugh how much they loved Downton. Apparently they were stopping rehearsals on Sunday nights in time to get back to watch it.”

She went on to say, “When Sybil passed away, Mick said to Ronnie, ‘Sad to hear about the girl’. Ronnie replied, ‘I haven’t seen it yet — I recorded it.’”

Who’d of though it Mick Jagger and Ronnie Wood are fans of Downton Abbey. They could give Dame Maggie Smith (The Dowager Countess) a run for her money no doubt. Who knows they may even get a part in the next series, now that would be worth watching would it not?
