FBI raids hacker’s apartment over Miley Cyrus photos

Miley Cyrus

Wired.com reports that the apartment of hacker Josh Holly, you know the 19-year-old guy who just couldn’t keep quiet about hacking into Disney star Miley Cyrus’ email account and then posting racy pics of her on the Internet, was raided Monday morning by the FBI.

It was in August that Holly posted the photos of Cyrus on his blog. According to E! Online he also wrote on his blog that he was actually thinking of not leaking the photos because he felt bad, but that the strong demand for the pics made him do it anyway. “I want to clear up that I DO NOT hate miley. The reason I leak these is because that’s what people want to see. I feel kinda bad, cause I do know I kinda messed up her career a little,” he wrote.

According to E! Online, the FBI seized Holly’s computers and his phone, but no arrest was made.

But the story doesn’t end there, according to News.com.au. The Australian news site reports that Holly was back online the day after the raid, sharing his FBI experience with his readers. “Well, all my idiotic doings have finally caught up with me… the FBI came into my house and took all things that can store data,” he reportedly wrote. “When they came, they said I was not under arrest and no one is pressing charges, they just need evidence to put me down. Well, that is what I get for being an idiot and boast about hacking.”
