On Sunday morning after attempting to use counterfeit $50 dollar bills while gaming at a casino that is located in Maryland Fat Trel was reportedly arrested. This notorious MMG rapper attempted to use nine 50 dollar bills in order to gamble with, but the police were very easily able to identify these bills as being counterfeit by the matching serial numbers that were printed on them. The notorious rapper Fat Trel was ultimate arrested as well as being charged with the possession of counterfeit currency.
Fat Trel determined to claim his innocence in this matter earlier stated that the bills that he had did NOT come from the 7-11 ATM machine as TMZ earlier reported. Taking to Twitter in order to explain futher his side of the story, Fat Trel stated that a fake promoter was part of the issue and that he would not snitch about it.
Rick Ross who is a protégé of Fat Trel also was busted for attempting to use counterfeit money also in a casino, but Rick claims that the counterfeit money that he had is just the money that an ATM gave him.
According to the police report, Fat Trel who is signed on to Rick’s Maybach Music Group was in a casino that is located in Maryland early Easter Morning when he gave the nine counterfeit 50 dollar bills to what is known as a pit boss. The police state that the easy tell was ultimately the matching serial numbers on eight of the nine counterfeit bills.
The rapper has ultimately been arrested and charged with the possession of counterfeit money, which ultimately means that he will no doubt have the Secret Service crawling all over him in the near future.
