RadarOnline.com reports that actress Farrah Fawcett is in critical but stable condition in a Los Angeles hospital. Fawcett has been battling cancer for years and has had experimental stem-cell treatment in Germany.
The 62-year-old actress was diagnosed with rectal cancer in 2006 and has undergone both chemotherapy and surgery. On her 60th birthday, the Associated Press reported that she was cancer free and Fawcett released the following statement: “This is an extraordinarily happy day for me and my family. I hope that my news might offer some level of inspiration to others who unfortunately must continue to fight the disease.”
However, in May 2007 it was reported that a malignant polyp had been found in the same area where Fawcett had previously been treated.
