Eddie Murphy wants to quit making movies and return to perform on the stage again.

WENN reports that Beverly Hills Cop 4 might be the last movie he’ll ever make, “Thirty years and I have close to 50 movies and it is like, `Why am I in the movies? I’ve done that part now.’ I’ll go back to the stage and do stand-up,” he said.

The question remains if he’ll ever be as funny as he was back in the day when he performed Delirious and RAW?!
