DUCHESS of York Sarah Ferguson was left “trembling in shock” after a drama in mid air according to the Sun

Mother to thePrincess Eugenie’, Sarah Ferguson, aka Fergie, is said to have screamed in fear when an engine casing flew loose.

The Piper PA-42 Cheyenne plane was forced to return to Biggin Hill airport, Kent, shortly after take-off.

Fergie and tycoon Geir Frantzen, 41 - the head of Findus Foods - had been on the private jet to his Norwegian home when the panel swung free.

A source said: “It made a hell of a racket and the alarms went off and lights on the control screen began flashing.
“Sarah was terrified the plane was going to crash and was trembling with shock when it landed.”
