Rapper Warren G, who’s real name is Warren Griffin III, was arrested in Los Angeles Sunday, after cops pulled him over for a red light violation and then found lots of marijuana in the car..
Both the rapper and his driver were booked on suspicion of possessing a controlled substance, but were later released after posting a $20,000 bail each, according to AP.
The rapper denied that the marijuana was his and the L.A. County District Attorney has now thrown out the drug charges, saying that they do not have sufficient evidence to link Warren G and the driver to the drugs found in the car since the vehicle was not registered to either of them, according to tmz.com.
