A couple who were “allegedly” stupid enough to not only kill a rare iguana, to put it on the grill and record the whole event for posterity, posting their Bahamas blunder on Facebook, were arrested, and are now facing trial for their actions.
Now in our humble viewpoint, you’d have to be PRETTY darn hungry to grill an iguana, but heres what happened:
According to Digital Spy,Vanessa Starr Palm, 23, and Alexander Daniel Rust, 24, were on vacation in the Bahamas when they apparently caught the endangered animal, killed it and grilled it.
They duplicitous duo were arrested on the Fisheries Regulations and the Wild Animal Protection Act on Monday after being tracked down by Bahamian authorities from their ultra idiotic stunt in posting it on Facebook.
“Police said that photographs on the social networking site showed “parts of an iguana on a grill, two men eating the iguana pieces, and a man and a woman cleaning what appears to be undersized conch”. They are facing fines as well as jail time.. Hey guys.. McDonalds© would have been cheaper…
